I pulled the foam insulation off the bottom of the engine cover and the foam dam that wraps around the back of the intake and reinstalled the engine cover. It seems to fit fine without the foam. Outside of the engine, i replaced the oil cooler assembly even though mine (2013) has never leaked, swapped the lower intake manifold with one for a jl pentastar with the improved flow and replaced all of the heater hoses, pipes, and radiator hoses.
